David Herring, owner of Bardstown Appraisal Co., is a Kentucky native. He was born and raised in Harrodsburg, Kentucky and David attended both St. Catharine College and Eastern Kentucky University. David began his career in real estate shortly after finishing college in the beginning of 1998 and received his license as a General Certified Real Estate Appraiser in 2000. David and his wife, Shannon (a native of the Bloomfield area of Nelson County), met in 1994 at St Catharine College and after a long courtship, were married in 2000 at My Old Kentucky Home State Park. They now have two beautiful daughters. After David had started his own real estate appraisal company in 2003 he began valuing properties in the Nelson County market and after a few years decided to move both his business and family back to Nelson County.
